What is @EASE?

@EASE stands for AcroTeX Exam Assembly System Environment.

@EASE allows the educator (that's you) to build up through time a personal database of questions on a variety of topics of interest. With the @EASE control panel, the educator opens appropriate database files (PDF-files), visually selects questions of interest, and builds an exam, a LaTeX source file, consisting of the questions selected. What could be easier?

Authors may use Adobe Distiller or pdflatex as the PDF creator; however, @EASE requires Acrobat Pro 7.0 or later to execute some JavaScript that is not available in Adobe Reader. Once the exam file is assembled, it can be compiled using LaTeX, at this stage Acrobat is not needed.
